Fashion Avenue News held their 7th annual
"Fashion on the Hudson" fashion event, July 11th, 2015
at the Riverbank Park. I
expected something grand, as only one should with a fashion event
produced by Ms. Sophia Davis. This was my first time covering
the show, and I heard great things
about it, but, to actually comprehend the scale of it all, you really have to experience it. It is audaciously grand. Over 20 designers showcasing in the cavernous cultural center within the Riverbank State Park, well over 100 models made their way through a runway that covered the entire venue, seating filled to capacity, if you came late, you were not guaranteed a seat,(but of course you were accommodated) Press, bloggers, photographers, videographers, celebrities, fashion dignitaries, all were in attendance. The production was on point, and you wouldn't expect anything less, given the fact that Ms. Davis and her crew were hands on and in control, from beginning to end. All in all a spectacular fashion event, that I look forward to covering again. Special thanks and mention to Mr. Allison Brown, who coordinated the press and media professionals, and a fellow photographer as well.
