On one of my recent trips to "Image Rich" Columbus, I came across this unusual, giant, metal, gavel, which was anchored in the middle of this spacious water fountain and granite monument outside of this courthouse. It stood out so much because of its placement, and how the light just lit this monolithic structure in such a special way. I had to shoot it. I think I was drooling a little. I was thinking of the different ways I could shoot this work of art. I was in heaven. Afterwards, I looked up the origin of this piece, and I found the artist who created the piece.(click the post title for the link to the artist) the final product I will display pretty soon, a art gallery owner/friend of mine will showcase it, and I'll keep you posted.
