I always enjoy covering fashion shows that have a collective community purpose other than fashion. Raising awareness through fashion, coupled with an awesome presentation, Shelley Simpson, of Simpson Events does this very well. This years theme and title, "A Fashionable Christmas Story", is a take on the "Christmas Story", complete with "scenes" of various ready to wear fashions supplied by StiletosPlus Fashions, Newark, NJ. Raising awareness about Hearing loss, support and care, the Hearing Loss Association of America, Essex County Chapter, was in attendance, represented by chapter president, Latsha Porter-Vaughan.
