blurs the lines between both. Since 2006, Kevin Parker, and Kerry Scott, have consistently put together a production that is on par with any industry fashion week production, either in new york, or los angeles. But, back to the designers. Innovation, and flair was in full abundance at the Friday "Runway I" show, and a few designers collections really caught my eye. In my viewfinder, I can see the technical skill used to create, and I was very impressed with the work of a couple of designers. Designer, Lucreatia Russell, and her "DeCreed Collection", Not alot of traditional shapes here, but a plethora of asymetrical, unconventional cuts, building into some great right above the knee skirts.Craftsmanship is also very evident, with tight uniformed stitching. Not alot of colors in this collection, beige, dark, and semi-shimmery,...fantastic!!!

Pastel, and light fabrics, mean warmer weather, and designer, Onyx Taylor serves it all up
with an amazing eye catching collection.
Again, this designer takes the hand off of the innovation baton,.. and runs with it. With interesting pleats and stitching,
the craftsmanship is obvious.

As mentioned, part of the excitement for me working these fashion week
is watching , and visually documenting the very real, and talented emerging
designers, and their creations, and the productions, and venues that showcases
them, and at Philly Fashion Week, you are getting the best of both worlds.
...part 2,on the way!!!
